This is an new log cabin with all pine interior that has awesome long and short-range views. Relax on the screened in porch in soft-cushioned wicker chairs and look out on 30,000 acres of mountains without another house in sight. Yet, this house is within 2 miles of an authentic country store where every Saturday afternoon the locals bring their banjos, guitars, and voices to jam for several hours of free and incredible entertainment. The house has 2 bedrooms decorated with country pine and antiques, goosedown comforters and handmade quilts. The living room has overstuffed chairs and a comfortable living space that is the owner's own vacation home. Sit in the hot tub and look at the stars and moon in a night sky unpolluted by lights.

Horseback riding, tubing down the Elk River, hiking, nearby waterfalls, historical sites, shopping, 30 miles to Drexel and Thomasville furniture outlets, 30 miles to Boone and Blowing Rock, 7 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Nearby there is flat grade road for biking for miles and miles. Graveyard nearby from the 1700's. Wildlife galore,and most of all incredible peace and beauty.
