Large older beach house in one of the least developed, least touristy, and quietest places left on the Florida coast. There is a great beach 100 feet out your door. The house sits on a 1 acre lot with 110 feet of private beach frontage, the nearest public access to this beach is 3 miles away. No condos, no resorts, no motels, no bars, nothing but a few single family homes on this beach. This is a lightly populated rural area, the nearest stop light is 35 miles away, and the nearest McDonalds 45 miles. For a quiet private beach vacation this is the place! We call the house "Kate's Dream".

A wonderful beach, the beach is the one and only reason to go here. To enjoy the beach we have 2 outdoor decks and a large screened porch. You will have 110 feet of private unshared beach front and water about 100 feet out your door. Water views from every window in every room, and there are lots of windows.
This is a 4000 square foot two story house. The lower floor is at ground level, no steps easy access. Lots of room, and lots of beds. Please read the details on our website, this is an older beach house, we really like it and most of our renters do as well, but it is not a new fancy beach house. It is a clasic older Florida beach house.
The beach, swimming, fishing, sunbathing, beach walking, sand castle building, shell collecting, sipping a drink in a beach chair with your feet in the water, all the beach things. There are lots of other interesting things nearby, such as the Apalachicola National Forest, Tate's Hell swamp, the old town of Apalachicola, Wakulla Springs and the Wakulla River,and the St Marks Wildlife Refuge. But not Disney, we are a 5 hour drive from Orlando, too close for our liking!
