Casa Tropical Tankah, is a romantic, beachfront villa, located on 1/2 acre with 82' ocean frontage, Tankah, Mexico. We are a 1 hour drive south of the Cancun airport, 3 miles north of the famous Tulum ruins. We have great views with barrier reef just offshore, and a cenote up the beach for diving, snorkeling or swimming, jungle style.
Our villa's great location is within driving distance to many places of interest... Playa del Carmen (you take the boat to Cozumel from there) Xel-ha, Tulum and Coba ruins, and the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve starts just south of the Tulum ruins. You can also drive to several other major archaeological sites for a day trip. We have wonderful cenotes to swim, snorkel or dive in and the beaches are great. Nice ranch about a 1/2 hour drive north for horseback riding on the beach.

Casa Tropical is tiled throughout and each unit with bedroom/living area, fully equipped kitchen, tiled baths, P.M. air conditioning for sleeping comfort, ceiling fans and Haitian artwork throughout. Hammocks, lounge chairs, books, radio/cassette/CD player provided. Twice-weekly maid service, gardener. Two very separate and private units, sleeps 2 in each.
Our 1st floor unit has a palapa-roofed porch with table and chairs for dining alfresco, private hammock palapa, and stained glass window. Great view of ocean and gardens.
The 2nd floor unit also has a small balcony off the bedroom plus and a 14' x 29' palapa covered rooftop patio with built-in seating, hammocks, and bar with sink. Wonderful views and ocean breeze.
Our villa was designed with privacy in mind. The units do not connect. Each unit also has it own private entrance on opposite sides of our villa, it's own outside shower for rinsing besides the full tiled bathroom inside each unit, and private porch and hammock palapa (1st floor), roof top patio and balcony, (2nd floor unit). There are also lounge chairs on the beach. Our 1/2 acre property is landscaped with plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade. The neighbor to the left has 1/2 acre, the neighbor to the right is situated on a full acre property. There is plenty of privacy.
