You can watch the dolphins playing in the gulf or enjoy spectacular sunsets from the lanai (screened balcony). The private beach has small "palapas" (grass-hut table areas) and lounge chairs for sunbathing or take a dip in the pool. There's plenty of shopping and gulfside dining located within walking distance. Don't feel like driving? The local trolley is available to take you from one end of the island to the other for additional shopping and fine dining. Bring your golf clubs, the golf course is just down the street. For day trips, favorites include Sanibel/Captiva Islands, Naples and day boat trips to the Florida Everglades and Key West. Come and stay on the best beach on the Gulf of Mexico!
